Today we are learning about Earthquakes. Christcurch has had another huge earthquake. Here are some questions we have:

9. When do they predict the next quake will happen?
10. Will earthquakes start going around New Zealand?
11. How deep was the earthquake?
12. What time did the earthquake hit Christchurch?
13. Will something like this happen again somewhere else?
14. How much money did they lose?
15. How many people were injured?
16. Are there any deaths?
17. How long will it take to fix it up?
18. When will the after shocks stop?
19. How many buildings got destroyed?
20. How do people in Christchurch feel?
21. How many people feared this would happen again?

We will ALL be watching the news tonight.

World Maths Day

Hi Wizards,

Hi
I’m Peita. I’ll be doing a lot of articles with the class photographers-Xiomara & Savannah. Walker’s Wizards are a fabulous group of students. We had a class vote and Walker’s Wizards won by 1 tiny vote it was down to: The Nitros, Monster Energy, Simply the best and Manawatu Mammoths but Walker’s Wizards was the most popular.

Us Wizards treat each other like family. A big congratulations to SONJA our new class rep and TOM our new deputy rep. Another achievement in our awesome class is ALISTAIR ,he got best speller a mega achievement for the start of the year. Good work. We have already had two birthdays in our super class. Hope you had fantastic birthdays Emma & Jacob.
